How to Prepare Pempek Lenjer/Selam

  1. Let pempek (fishcake) thaw at room temperature before frying

  2. Heat oil in pan (deep frying) over medium high heat, wait until the oil hot then put the fishcake in

  3. Fry fishcake until golden brown (make sure oil cover whole fish cake)

  4. Put aside then serve with cuko dipping sauce (eat right away while it still warm and crunchy)

  5. (Optional) add diced cucumber on the sauce

 

How to Prepare Pempek Bulat

  1. Let pempek (fishcake) thaw at room temperature before frying

  2. Heat oil in pan over medium high heat, wait until the oil hot then put the fishcake in

  3. Fry fish cake until they expand a little, then put aside and serve with cuko dipping sauce

 

How to Prepare Siomay (Steamed fishcake)

  1. Heat a steamer over medium high heat

  2. Put siomay in and steam for about 5 minutes (thawed siomay) and 10 minutes (frozen siomay)

  3. Open peanut sauce package heat in sauce pan over low heat just until it warm enough 

  4. Pour the peanut sauce over siomay drizzle with a squeeze of key lime

 

How to Prepare Otak-otak (Grilled fishcake)

  1. Let otak-otak thaw at room temperature

  2. Heat the pan (no oil) over low medium heat then put otak-otak in 

  3. Heat for about 4-5 minutes each side

  4. Serve with peanut dipping sauce
